One Sensor. Five Detection Patterns.

Not every deployment requires the same field of view.
An optional set of five interchangeable lens covers allows the MClimate PIR mini to be tailored to a wide range of environments and use cases. By shaping the sensor's detection pattern, you can focus on the areas that matter most, reduce unwanted triggers, and improve occupancy accuracy. Whether you're monitoring a patient room, parking space, workstation, hotel room, or public area, the lens kit provides the flexibility to optimize coverage for each installation. From focused interaction zones to full-room occupancy detection, the PIR mini adapts to the application.

Corner limiter

Movement Detection and Counting

Equipped with a PIR sensor with a range up to 8 meters and a 120° vertical and horizontal range, one of the strongest on the market, the device not only detects movements to enable demand-driven actions instead of fixed schedules, but also counts them. This data helps optimize space usage, save energy, and support informed business decisions. The PIR mini can be strategically installed in entrances, exits, corridors, and high-traffic zones to monitor occupancy and optimize operations accordingly.

Smart Lighting Control

The PIR mini features a LUX sensor that enables it to measure ambient light levels with a range of 0 - 65530 lux. In association with other devices such as the MClimate 16ASPM, it enables the implementation of automations for smart lighting control. That way, by combining LUX and PIR sensing, the device can ensure that lights turn on only when a space is occupied, and light is insufficient, while dimming or switching off lighting when light is sufficiently available. This improves energy efficiency by preventing unnecessary lighting in unoccupied spaces and adapting light levels when presence is detected, ensuring occupant safety and comfort.

Easy to Install

The device can be securely fixed using double-sided tape or more permanently with screws and dowels, making it fast and easy to install. Avoid placement near windows and doors, above heating and near, and in direct sunlight. We recommend installing the device in an open environment (e.g., not in a recess).

45° mounting accessory for mini-series

For mini-series devices, an optional triangle-shaped 45° corner mounting accessory is available for purchase. By positioning the device at a 45° angle, it optimizes the PIR mini sensor’s 120° horizontal and vertical field of view, thus improving motion detection coverage and accuracy. The accessory can be installed using screws and dowels or double-sided tape.

Applicable to Different Building Types

By measuring temperature, humidity, and movements, the device is suitable for a wide range of building types and environments. It can be used to improve indoor climate conditions, optimize energy use, and enhance occupant comfort in schools, offices, public buildings, hotels, hospitals, and more.

Firmware Updates Over The Air (FUOTA)

FUOTA (Firmware Updates Over the Air) allows devices in an IoT network to be updated wirelessly, without the need for physical access. This means manufacturers and service providers can improve device performance, add new features, and apply updates remotely. MClimate was among the first manufacturers to roll out FUOTA across its entire device portfolio, helping devices stay compliant with new regulations, extend their operational lifetime, and significantly reduce maintenance costs by avoiding manual on-site updates.

Open protocol

We maintain an open protocol for all of our devices including the MClimate PIR mini LoRaWAN®, with no vendor lock-in, allowing for seamless integration with different IoT platforms. This flexibility has enabled numerous IoT companies to seamlessly integrate our products into their preferred platforms. However, in our pursuit of delivering best-in-class IoT services, we at MClimate created the Enterprise as a flexible, all-in-one IoT Buildings management platform. Fully open communication protocol allowing integration into different systems including  MClimate Enterprise.

Data-driven Analytics with MClimate Enterprise

Use MClimate Enterprise software platform to monitor, analyze and control your daily, weekly, and monthly electricity consumption. Benefit from the option to create custom dashboards and easily generate reports on sustainability measures and much more.

In combination with the MClimate Enterprise you can provide the customized MClimate App to your end users giving them access to easy-navigate geolocation functions and notifications.
